Micro-sieves explained
This is a fine mesh filter prepared in sheet form using electroforming. Nickel is used as the material.
・The aperture shape is a square inverted taper (mortar shape)
・Please consult us for other aperture shapes such as round, honeycomb, etc.
・We accept orders from 2μm aperture width. (Please consult with us for under 2μm.)
Micro-sieve manufacturing process
Micro-sieves are created by electroforming nickel plating without a photolithographic process.

- The composition is 99.9% nickel or higher.
- Its properties are similar to those of nickel metal.
- Electroforming is used instead of weaving mesh.
→Exhibits a flat surface on the sheet compared to woven mesh, with excellent precision and no variation in aperture width.
Micro-sieve features
Compared to wovens, micro-sieves have a flat surface and excellent opening width accuracy, and there is little variation, so fine and trace powders, pastes, inks, colloidal substances, etc. can be sorted, extracted, and classified.
The aperture width (opening) can be adjusted in increments of 1μm, making it suitable for sorting a wide variety of samples.
